Sara booked an independent midwife in her third pregnancy, following two caesareans.  Her story illustrates how important it is to have a midwife you know and trust when things don't go according to plan.

 

 

Cerys was grateful for a midwife she knew when things didn't go according to plan in labour with her second baby and chose care from a third-year midwifery student in her third pregnancy to ensure that a midwife she knew would attend the birth.

 

 

Victoria decided to have her third baby at a birth centre run by independent midwives following two traumatic births.

 

 

 

Coming Soon - Emma's friend Sarah was her midwife, within the NHS, for the hospital waterbirth of her second baby.  The story is told from both Emma's and Sarah's viewpoints.
